It will be a great deal , do not call in sick ( give us your 500k dollar sick bank ) and we will let you park for free to come work for us .

Then they wonder why almost 30 pilots left in the month of March for other airlines .

In PHX the parking spot sucks, especially if you come in at anytime other than rush hour and if you are in uniform. If you are dressed to go to work, they treat you about as well as an AA gate agent would when you are trying to catch the last flight home. I find the close in parking here, even the one with the short train ride to be far superior even if $1 more a day and no rewards.

Yes, I like the East economy parking better than Parking Spot.

I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for covered or anything near decent parking.

Like hotels, VNAV, pilot pay rates and every other thing this company pays for, it will be whatever is the cheapest, most inconvenient option.

Get it in the contract. I dont want a company paid anything unless its contractual.

^^^^THIS^^^^ is the way, unfortunately. As one who will continue to use covered airport parking, this change will be zero benefit to me, and...bonus!...makes it even less likely that we will see a stipend for parking in the new contract (an alternative way of addressing the issue that would have benefited EVERY pilot). Out-flanked once again...

Or they know it will be in our contract and are just getting ahead of the masses complaining its not available to them...

Same here. I would prefer a stipend and let us choose where to park. I left the MCO prison lot 13 years ago, and have zero intention of ever going back.

A stipend works for commuters as well as those in base, so we are unlikely to get that.

what are the hotels generally like? I haven’t seen much discussion on that here.
