Paid Parking Coming Soon

It will be a great deal , do not call in sick ( give us your 500k dollar sick bank ) and we will let you park for free to come work for us .
Then they wonder why almost 30 pilots left in the month of March for other airlines .

It better be in the parking garages.. although the parking spot is faster. I can literally park and be inside the terminal in roughly 5 min with them. I have done the close in parking and I think it’s more of a PITA. Need a Miata.. and maybe some sketchers for the walk.

Like hotels, VNAV, pilot pay rates and every other thing this company pays for, it will be whatever is the cheapest, most inconvenient option.

Get it in the contract. I dont want a company paid anything unless its contractual.

Paid covered parking....that's funny right there.
^^^^THIS^^^^ is the way, unfortunately. As one who will continue to use covered airport parking, this change will be zero benefit to me, and...bonus!...makes it even less likely that we will see a stipend for parking in the new contract (an alternative way of addressing the issue that would have benefited EVERY pilot). Out-flanked once again...

A stipend works for commuters as well as those in base, so we are unlikely to get that.

what are the hotels generally like? I haven’t seen much discussion on that here.
