We will be zero% behind once the new contract is voted in. Anything else will be turned down and the NC will be toast. The hotel AIP must be reopened, or this whole thing is dead. Any section that is not industry leading will be a death knell.

I just listened to the latest podcast and one of the guys in there said he'd be happy with delta rates. That's a person who is in the negotiations who said that.
These guys seem like they are trying to just get equal with the others not get what we are worth. Hopefully enough other pilots filled out the survey and have asked for a lot more.

Dont look too far. But some worked on TA1 and 2. They delivered those lagging turds and will again.

[QUOTE=Cyio;3685827]You kidding? Some bases can’t even find candidates to field a domicile rep position, much less committee volunteers. SWAPA is a volunteer organization. They do what they can with those who are willing to step up and do the work. So if you’re unhappy with their performance, step up and volunteer! Lots of committees need pilots.

I have NO idea why it added your name as opposed to CYIO. I literally just clicked the quote button and thats what it brought down. Must be using WN’s IT department over at APC.

It started with hoover. Then I missed quoted him/her and was too late to edit. Both names are in the top quotes, so it takes the wrong one.

I’ve volunteered for two committees where the local peeps reached out for help. Both times empire central came back and said there’s no funding to fill a committee position. One of which was an SPC position in one of our biggest bases.
I think reality may be more gray than your post implies about the club down in Dallas.

AA approved their POS TA so thats another one that doesn't even come close to inflation, full retro, or decent improvements.
it's like everyone is blind to a once in a lifetime contract opportunity.
Hey I got a 10 % raise even though inflation was 20% I already make a lot and dont want the company to fold.
meanwhile the next quarter record profits are announced, stock buybacks, dividends. and C suite bonuses and raises that double their earnings. Yet pilots are happy with their messily raise that doesn't even cover inflation.
that's what I'm afraid of here, I've heard it in the podcasts, I've seen it in the surveys and when ive talked to reps they seem to be in the same position.
give me some crumbs and I'll be happy.
I'm serious when I think we deserve a 100% raise on top of everything we are asking for.
we all know that money will be spent on buybacks and dividends. Even Bob got a 75% raise recently.
