9 hours block in to block out , it is up to you to get fhe 8 hours being the room door. My point is that they should not work us like a pack mule. Then when we question CS about it, the answer is they’re allowed to do it per the contract No we’re sorry or do you mind helping out or any other kind of remorse. Just a fu you have to do it or call fatigued .
And you are correct the fatigue calls are skyrocketing It is a matter of time before the FAA notices.

FAs have 10hrs now. I would guess he isn’t counting the 30 minutes travel each way. You aren’t resting so it’s bs they count that. I have higher personal mins. Sorry I don’t have an on off switch. Anything below 12 will get my attention below 11.5 will be a fatigue call. I’m to old for that short night crap and won’t compromise my health or safety for this airline.

I’m a new hire starting class in a few weeks and have a bunch of questions about the ETOPS program. I read that there are ETOPS qualified pilots at LAX, OAK, and LAS. I’m looking to get LA when I can.
2. Is it the most senior folks who tend to bid ETOPS?
Thanks in advance for an insights.
