Ya but do they get to pay for their own parking ? How about uniforms? Constantly having to check their pay for all the errors? 11 year upgrades ? I highly doubt they get SWAG points.

We beat them out on lots of stuff .

I forgot getting called a plumber by the CEO

F9 DEN CA plug is a 2006 hire. I’ve no idea about the rest.

SWA is not a good place to be at right now. We got Plumbers playing circus music on the station frequencies. Try it: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=pct1uEhAqBQ

how old is original poster? you will never, ever, triple cross your heart, leave PHX? ever?

F9 is probably quickest "sit reserve as a Captain and be in PHX" upgrade. They WILL be the newest fleet, and if you want to fly Airbus then SWA is out of the question obviously. If you want to fly wide-bodies at all, then F9 and SW are out of the question.

when you meet the airline that has no flaws, and has a CEO who is not married to Wall Street, let us know.

@SWA you get “No Sho Bobble Head BoJo” for a CEO and a C-Suite management team that is literally running the the company into the ground. And when they squander your profit sharing at least you’ll get some SWAg points and to buy cheep made in China trinket then have to pay imputed tax on it. But at least there is a SWAsome CULTure. You better bring your fun LUVing attitude and warrior spirit to work here. Grimace. Enjoy the clown show!

Amen. I’d say that’s a pretty accurate assessment of the present day situation.

Do you know any SWA FO who doesn't get whiplashed by reroutes, JA's, or never get called out on reserve?

This really shouldn't even be a question. F9 will most likely have a faster upgrade, but whether you can get that faster upgrade in PHX is another question altogether, thats assuming F9 keeps PHX as a base long term. I see no reason why they wouldn't, but WN certainly isnt going anywhere in PHX so to me, that is an important consideration. Long term, you will make more at WN, have better schedule flexibility and more will go into your retirement. Not to mention the regular plan health insurance. Downside is the 737 is slightly less comfortable than the bus, but I wouldn't let that be a consideration.

I was not an F9 guy, but I did work for NK and I can assure you WN is better than NK even with our current issues. We should have a contract in the next year which will make this an even easier choice.
