This month I’m 3/4 on trips being rerouted….which works for me. I was gonna pick up a premium 2 day this weekend and now I don’t need/want to.

I don’t think I’ve ever had a month on the line where I’ve only made guarantee—unless I reduced my flying…

That being said it’s pretty obvious to me that the company is working towards staffing to where guarantee is the goal.

Rates are important.

Agreed that I have made more than guarantee (way more most months) every single month. That isn’t the point, though. The point is we should base our rates of pay and projected earnings on min guarantee. Period. Not some arbitrary number thought up by swapa and the company to sell us less than industry leading career earnings. If we choose (or they choose for us) to work hard, great, we will get rewarded above and beyond that. That’s how our system works. Cue Gordon Gecko quote.
I fully expect to vote no for the first TA. It’s all part of the process. I did it a few years ago, and it made me probably hundreds of thousands of dollars over 7 years.

Max groundings and China bug. The majority of lines had large green bars.

How many customers does your regional have?

How many customers does SWA have?

Christmas debacle notwithstanding, that number will be far, far higher at SWA and add some semblence of stability in lieu of your rehional carrier. Is it a paycut for longer than it should be? Yes, but at age 38 you have a lot of runway.

Go to SWA, don't look back, and keep applying elsewhere. I have a feeling that UAL or AA would be just around the corner for you if you're not sitting in a seat supplying them feed vs at a competitor. Is that guaranteed? Of course not, but it's your best play in the long run.

Amen, amen, amen! How quickly we forget the overstaffing of 2018. If you can’t see that the company is going for those staffing numbers or even worse then you’re blind. Judge the new rates based on minimum monthly guarantee.

And yes, if we vote the first one down it’s pretty much guaranteed that we’ll get more on the second one. That’s how this game works.
