At DL, if you upgrade to the beloved 737-800 at 5 months and stay there for 30 years on their current contract, you’ll still end up making $1.2M more than you would at SWA flying the same equipment. And you’d never have to deal with those grubby wide body jets.

SWA pilots need to let that sink in. Not to mention the additional benefit of NEC, PS, global first class travel, etc.
Even though I’m past V1 here, my wife would like me to go to DAL for the better travel benefits (she’s got her own priorities).
If retirement goals were already met I’d be tempted.
