SWAPA Pres Testimony @ Senate Hearing 2/9

Just gonna say it. Unpopular opinion: Watching that coverage and seeing our pilots there, the blazer looks way more professional than the leather. It’s a sharp, crisp look that instantly says “airline pilot”.

Not just the jacket (I wear the leather), but the glasses on the head, chomping on gum and staring into space was a genuine distraction. It wasn’t a good overall impression of an airline captain.

However, I’m not giving up my ski jacket or wearing a hat!!!!
My bet is BOJO was instructed by his Domme (GK) to not attend and get back to his gimp box ASAP. I’m also guessing that the BOD attorneys instructed him to not attend. PURE 100% speculation and conspiracies….. no facts to back up my claims

There is a time and place for the blazer, and congressional testimony is definitely it. Why wouldn’t you wear a suit to such an important event? That being said, the pilot uniform that we wear on the line is about 100 years out of tune with society. It’s possible to look nice without wearing a navy style dress uniform, especially one that I have to pay for.
