I’ve been left behind due with open seats in business but not being able to purchase a business zed. You also look like a really cheap pilot with your economy zed for your LAX-SYD trip.

So I’m really happy to see this change. I never understood the rational behind it before (the reason I was given in new hire training was the first of many lies here). Hoping we get American, Delta, and others.
If you get a biz class ZED can you roll back if business class is full and what is the priority?

They will accommodate you in the highest class of service that has open seats. Your priority is based on each airline individual policies, but I'm guess you are asking if two non-employees hold ZEDs, one for C and one for Y, does C get priority? We all know that non-employee ZEDs priority is only above non-employee jump seaters. If so, that's a good question I'd have to look into.

Redunds...yes. If you go into myIDTravel and look up UA and LH under ID Agreements, you'll see each airlines policy on downgrade refunds, but yes you can apply for a refund. I didn't check Alaska or the others.

The Reroute concepts created by SWAPA then Adopted by the big three, but SWA is a HARD NO! This is how your management shows it’s lack of respect. FUPM

SWA LUVs to nickel and dime its pilots.

Things like life insurance, LTD, hotels, 123 deals, parking, uniforms, pay audits, medical reimbursements, JA pay, nonrevenue travel are all reasons NOT to work for SWA!

Delta buys its pilots $1,000,000 term life policy

American buys its pilots a $750,000 term life policy

Meanwhile, Southwest will SELL you a policy that doesn’t pay your family if you die slowly. If you go out on long term (Say Cancer) and then die, your family gets NOTHING!!!

Precisely.

This needs to be rectified in this contract. In fact, even if we achieve everything else, I won't even have read it because if this part isn't industry-leading, the rest doesn't matter... easy NO.

Another reason not to come here. We canceled 714 flights for clouds and rain showers. Next closest United with 47. Our management is so clueless on how to run an airline. Run and hide at the slightest weather. We are a VFR regional now.

The pilots are the enemy in the eyes of everyone at the GO. This place would much better if we just got rid of the pilots . Not to mention, a lot more time for deck parties and pickleball

I bet they are giving themselves high fives that they were able to ONLY cancel 714 flights. Are they intentionally trying to put us out of business?

And there will be no introspection or statement about how they could’ve done better. The last steps of any good mgmt plan is follow up and adjust.
