Interesting observation that may be escaping the Kompany trolls and FH ghouls: SWA has become an absolute worldwide travesty among pilots looking to get hired as well as currently employed pilots. I can’t recall an airline in recent decades that has a worse reputation across a spectrum of forums and social media. We are the New Webster definition of “a sad joke”.
Jelly, BOJO, and LK10 or whatever that robot’s moniker is can keep lowering minimums and qualifications but at some point a few more good jets are gonna be hood ornaments or artificial reefs and then the gig is up. Forever.
Too bad. It was good for a few years but I don’t think I'll be cashing my last paycheck from these bozos.

Anyone with a brain could have seen that one coming. The schedule has tons of 4am shows and 2am releases. Scheduled.
Throw in some planned 10 hour duty days, add some delays and mix with a dash of summer weather. Serve over a plate of ****ed off pilots.
I can't sleep right with these schedules. Nobody should be up before 4am. Nobody should be ending their day at 4am unless that's what they originally planned to do and got the rest for it.
Pilots who used to help out and fly fatigued just aren't doing it any more. It ages you terribly and it does our customers and families a disservice.
I have to go to bed now. I have a 4:05am van. Wish I was kidding.

they just said in an investor call that a lot of the shoulder flying is being moved to the middle of the day starting in March.

Thats because shoulder flying was the result of not enough airframes. Had to get all the flying out of each plane they could. Now we have jets but not pilots.
