1,221 Reasons Not to work for Southwest

SWA hates pilots. I have no idea why they just do not fire them all, it would make all the VPs very happy. Everyone in the GO could play foosball all day long , almost like they do now .

Choose your career wisely. Pro tip: its NOT SWA.

Hey Plumbers,
I was listening to a morning show on the radio in Houston this morning, they had people call in so they could guess their salary. A plumber called in. If he was telling the truth, plumbers in Houston make more than SWA FOs. He said after a 2 year apprenticeship he is making $150k and the “master plumbers” (they have 10 years experience) make $250k. I was not making 250 when I was a 10 year FO. So I guess we have been embellishing calling ourselves plumbers..

If they can un-AIP maternity leave we can un-AIP hotel language and any other section that has changed in perspective in the last three years.
I’m firmly for revisiting the previous surveys and handing the company the full proposal.

Just to pick one example: food availability, either crew meals or hotel food. Three years ago, I didn't think it was a big deal because I was easily able to get food before/after work. Then COVID hits, the hotel kitchens close early (or completely), and the company kept right on paying the hotels even though they stopped providing the services necessary to secure the contract with us. "Staffing issues -- nothing we can do." No, there's nothing they need to do, because our CBA doesn't have any hotel standards or crew meal requirements.
Survey us now. Things have changed!

if this is true in this 2023 environment…well…wow. No words.
