They know exactly how much they can lose a month and still come out ahead by stalling.
Even if we get everything we ask for they still come out ahead because of the interest they make off of the billions they saved.
At the end of the day the BOD of the company doesnt care if the company loses money. All they care about is how much stock they buy back to make themselves richer

I was scheduled for 17 days this month. I tried to use the lead out days (that I got stuck with) to get a trip pulled in the lead in month. I couldn't make it happen due to lack of seniority. If this is how they plan to account for way too few pilots, and they do, anyone would be crazy to come here. As far as reserve goes, don't let anyone tell you you'll work less reserve on our contract than at the big three. With overlap you will get extra days stuffed up your a ss regularly. Our contract sucks. And that's all without long call. Ever.

Ops agent at a certain Puerto Rican destination told me they had 52 wheelchairs on one flight a little while ago. Said the 800 was over half full with chair-riders and escorts by the time they got to general boarding.

The good news is that the miraculous healing of the waters of Isla Verde made it so that only two people needed a wheelchair to deplane.

We need to force the issue. You cannot deplane without a chair if you needed one to board. It’s too much liability for the company to assume, and in this day and age you can never be too careful. Wheelchairs passengers are free to pre board and sit where they like, but they should have to deplane last as it’s safer with more room and less objects in the way, and there’s a much greater likelihood the wheelchair pushers will actually be there with their chairs.

Ever notice how the people who obviously need a wheelchair usually have a system that works for them and wait til there’s plenty of room and plenty of assistance before they make their way off the plane, almost like they’ve done it before and aren’t doing it to scam the system?

Just another self inflicted wound resulting from no seat assignments. You don’t see Delta clearing out the first row of first class so preboarders can sit wherever they want.

Make it an exit row. You’re going to have to move ABPs into that row if there’s a planned evacuation anyway. Make it easy. No preboards in row one.
