Assuming that story is true, and I don't at all doubt that it is given similar incidents I've personally experienced and witnessed, it should cause anyone considering coming here for the "culture" to stop and question how real that culture is.

The "party" you completely facilitate and pay for.

All the company will do is get your family and cake through security.

Last thing I want to do on my last day is hang around the lounge.

Another reason NOT to work for SWA: Crew planning announced they may have to slow down Captain upgrades due to FO attrition.

If the pilots interviewing could see what the company is offering, they would not even show up for the interview. The only reason to come to WN would be to get an interview quicker at the big three. This place is a 3rd tier airline for a pilot to Work at .

If not fixed this could be a death spiral. Few airlines survive attrition from the bottom?

Agreed. If true that may even make me consider bailing. Upgrade is already too long here so adding anything is a big hit.

Its true. The company just sent it out. Good thing they are adding a ton of flying this winter. They are also counting on at least 25 pilots per month leaving. If only they had the ability to stop the attrition. Idiots run this airline.

25 a month. Can’t imagine the cost this thinking entails.
