[QUOTE=ElonMusk;3636326]
Can you explain how DEI is a right or a left wing agenda? Its goal is to obtain Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. It’s right there in the name Tucker. Can you imagine being so triggered a program to include people makes you bully a company? I think they call that cancel culture, just saying.
I don’t want to go down the rabbit hole too much but DEI IMHO is about being right down the middle and making everyone feel like they are involved. I could care less personally if they have a party if it makes people feel included. Maybe someone will have a good idea on how to get rid of Gary after a DEI meeting. They felt included and came up with a grand way to destroy Gary….could happen.
I mean crap it’s not like the RP insurance….that socialist program is from the far left. Free insurance? WTH is that about. That’s like a Highway free to use. I like to use only tollways as that is my contribution to a capitalist society!
It’s not free. The company pays. All bills must be paid, always.

As was said above, DEI is a capitalist ploy to get the most money out of the most people. End of story. Full stop.
The only people that get mad about DEI are people that watch the outrage media nonstop or get their news from internet sites that puppet the same drivel designed to stimulate the endorphin feedback loop in people who are too dumb to think for themselves.
It's fun to get angry, but it feels so bad when the anger goes away, so you just go back for more. I had a flying partner who watched faux news from the climb checklist until the final approach fix. Not an exaggeration. It was fascinating. He was about as interesting to talk to as a tree stump.

Look, I don't care what one's politics are. I care about this airline trucking for the next couple of decades without imploding, and we've been doing a rather lousy job at that lately. I want this airline to be Switzerland and focused on making money. I liked how in 2020, the company said no BLM or MAGA or any political paraphernalia. Ever since then, the company has embraced left wing ideology which a very significant group of people find offensive, divisive, and catering to a very small, but rather highly vocal minority, and neglecting to run a good airline. How about going back and flying the darn airplane, i.e. running an airline and focusing on our mission statement and our vision? Given the way we're going, I don't see this airline lasting another decade.

Come on man, you do care what peoples politics are. Go back and read some of your posts. You have always cared.You are as conservative as they come. Just admit you do care. I bet you have not even read a story from NPR start to end. That’s fine man nobody really cares but admit you do care.
This airline will not last another decade because the management worships at the alter of Maximizing Shareholder Value. They could care less about running and airline and care more about fleecing it for their own personal gains.
Now in regards to trying different things to get more revenue the GREATEST marketing campaign ever was a ploy. They gave away free liquor to the businessman so he could take it home on his companies dime. They couldn’t match the competitors price so the jumped into the liquor business. They are constantly trying new ways to encourage revenue from subsets of the population. They will continue in the future.

I don't watch any of the news networks, so yeah....
Faux News, the Communist News Network, the screaming libs on MSNBC...they exist to do one thing, generate ratings. They all do that by feeding your emotional addiction to outrage. Try to quit cold turkey for a month. It is liberating. You will realize that you aren't watching news, you are watching someone tell you how to feel about the news and then feeding you stories that add oxygen to it.
I suggest getting a subscription to the WSJ and reading it (minus the editorial page which is ridiculously partisan).
So I'll be the pot or the kettle or whatever you want, but I refuse to get angry about something that literally has zero impact on me or my family. I won't do it because I don't let people tell me how to think.
The only reason I commented in the first place is because we went in one post from the super successful and uniting SAV victory to a gender transition literature being in the EFB. Who cares? Are you transitioning genders? I didn't even know it was there and still haven't looked because I don't waste my time on noise and don't feel the need to get angry about it and it simply does not apply to me.

Having said that... it's not so much what's in the EFB. As I said, it could be "The Guide to AR-15 Ownership" and I'd have the same problem - it has absolutely ZERO to do with running an airline in operational distress and with the unhappy front line labor force. It is completely ignoring the bells and warnings and marching to a completely different tune. I want less politics and more airline stuff. For the little fiefdoms that want to push their agenda, I would invite them to go to DC and join some PAC to fulfill their need to contribute to their version of social justice - this place ain't it.
