What an ugly ass paint scheme.
What an ugly ass paint scheme.
I don't think most pilots care what the paint looks like. I flew with a FO a few trips ago who was super excited about liveries, but he is probably the first person I have met that made more than a casual mention of any of the paint schemes except for the American flag one.

Another anecdotal reason to not go to SWA:

The post is a clip from a UA new hire graduation ceremony of a guy who apparently left Spirit to go to UA. It sounds like he is being awarded 787 FO out of training. Third-year 787 FO pay ($203.79/hr) beats 12-year SWA FO pay ($171.95/TFP= $197.57/hr) on UA’s current contract (which will likely be replaced by a Delta-plus contract at some point in the next year or two).
