if I was white I would just tell them I identify as black and then they would really be scratching their heads.

THERE WERE NO FURLOUGHS AT THE BIG THREE, nor were any furlough letters sent out! SWA also threatened their pilots with termination unless they were vaccinated while, DAL simply asked that you pay $200.00 per month to help cover the increased cost of medical care due to covid. These are the two things that Gary Kelly and Bob Jordan will never be forgiven for, and it will never be forgotten by the line pilots. EVER.

Give me a break.

AA actually furloughed 1200…

As of today 3/21/23 114 SWAPA Plumbers have voted with their feet and quit, at least 30 more Plumbers are waiting on class dates at Delta. SWA is no longer a destination airline.

114…since Dec 21. 114 have quit Spirit since Feb 1. I’d say we’re still doing alright.

Yeah but 110 of those who quit spirit were at Skywest 4 months ago and used Spirit to bypass delta's metering...

They have better scheduling flexibility and are paid more than we are with an arguably more pilot friendly airplane.

But sure…they suck.

My point was that we’re like 4x their size and our attrition isn’t even close to theirs.

I’m curious how many have quit UAL, DL, and AA since Dec ‘21….

Delta pilot here, I received multiple letters and spend alnost a year without being assigned an aircraft to fly (becuae it saved money within the payroll protection program rules). Delta's deal with ALPA delayed furloughs, reduced the projected amount, and did prevent them from happening before government intervention, but they were still going to happen without it. Once the bailouts came they just kept getting pushed back as each bailout happened with updated letters.

I don't understand. I thought everyone was a 6 month 767 Captain over there.
