While I am certainly not a "woke go broke" thinking, there could be some legitimate concerns regarding some protected groups from the alphebet team.
Suicide rates among certain groups are 32-50% higher than their counterparts. For certain groups, adolescent suicidal thoughts are near 82% at some point in their life.
We can argue the causes of all of this until we are blue in the face, or red on the ass, but it really doesn't matter in terms of how we would feel knowing an entire plane is depending on them making the right decisions when alone in the cockpit. Please dont turn this statement into anything political or some sort of bias, this is data coming straight from the NIH, freely available to anyone. You could argue that someone that has made it to this point in their lives and able to be hired at a major to fly larger aircraft has overcome their thoughts, but is there really anyway to know? We dont really have mental health screenings, at least at WN.
Interesting times indeed and perhaps the number is so small that it is insignificant in terms of a long term safety issue, but something to think about for sure. Before anyone tries to straw man this into hate speech, understand that two of my three kids fall into the LGBQ community, both of which I love and support.

This whole anti DEI and woke go broke thing is a tool being used by the outrage media to keep the serotonin feedback loop going in the minds of people who refuse to think for themselves. It's noise that is dividing us at a time when we need to be united as Americans and as organized labor. Watch what they do and not what they say. These programs are to satisfy customers and investors. Nobody is oppressing you.

Spot on. I want a good heart surgeon to do my by pass surgery. I want to help under represented people to achieve. I am glad to help them. But performance must be to the same standard, equally.

Three things that cannot be denied.
1) The company has lowered hiring minimums.
2) The company specifically and actively seeks and promotes pilot applicants based on gender, race, and where they prefer to stick their penis.
3) The company is sensitive to ESG criteria, while possessing the ability to deny “quotas”.
You can argue, fuss, deny, or block the ability for this to be stated but it’s absolutely and undeniably true.
As far as affecting safety, that’s another issue and a much wider range argument. As far as voicing my opinion and changing anything, absolutely not gonna happen. It’s 🤡 🌎 and I just need to make some money and get back home to my family (which is NOT SWA). As far as every employee that fits the above categories lacking proficiency for the job or deserving disrespect, maybe I’m wrong but I’ve never heard anyone attempting to make that argument. That would be stupid.

Are the minorities and women have a lower than standard check ride or performance standards?
you speak of quotas, have we see a large increase of minorities and women in the new classes?

Someone, anyone give me one concrete example of how DEI is negatively effecting you in your job. Not so and so said this or that or I heard this or a check airman said that. A verifiable concrete example of diversity trumping ability.
Anyone who has been in the military in the last 30 years knows these programs come and go in different flavors, but in the end, they are designed for the 2 percent that can't wrap their brains around the fact that someone who doesn't look like them may be invited to do their job. For the other 98 percent of us, we just keep doing what we were doing and everything is fine.
