1,221 Reasons Not to work for Southwest

Just saw the latest negotiations update. I have a hard time seeing how this is going to end as a win for the company? I get it's standard negotiating from the company, but it's like there is no vision of a future here. Maybe bojo is going for a Pyrrhic victory.

Personally, I think the company is trying to call our SAV 'bluff.' That's why I think it's all the more important to vote yes on SAV and tell them where we stand with one voice so they can see as plain as day that we aren't bluffing.
I don't see any progress on the horizon until the company gets hit with a strong SAV yes vote, and the mediator threatens them with declaring an impasse releasing us to the first 30-day cooling off period.

The good news is that IF we stick together, the amount of leverage we yield is insane.

Unfortunately, I’m going to have to agree with the last two posts. One can fantasize can’t I?
The sad part is that an industry LEADING contract is very attainable with unity. Alas, you’re both right.

This pilot group loves shooting itself in it's collective foot. Over and over again.
Most folks can't seem to grasp that when you vote YES! to ratify industry lagging contracts, you GET industry lagging contracts.
Or maybe most folks here just enjoy working harder for less?
Yeah, I know...... This time is "different".
Again.....
