Thats what he said. What are the market rates for pilots now? Hint it isn’t just 737 NB rates.

We must be getting close to a final offer from the company, the brand new accounts have arrived to criticize anyone speaking out against SWA.

It’s getting close because the emails for the company about weekly negotiations is getting shorter and more direct. They still are far off on certain things though but don’t worry OT is still being picked up at record rates, I’m sure a deal will be imminent….(sarcasm off)

yeah, but their is a difference between a 'final' offer from the company and actually getting a deal done.

SWA has turned down the rhetoric AND deployed yessies to the forums, so something is definitely coming.

Yeah, I stumbled in to an impromptu meeting of United pilots when their TA was published. They were discussing it and asked me what we were going for and how long would it take. I just responded that we had a wide chasm to cross to get to "industry standard".

They looked puzzled for a bit...... then, when I told them we didn't even have company paid LTD or paid parking or crew meals they were flat out SHOCKED!

After a bit of stunned silence on their part, they just said..... "so it might be awhile"?

You would pay the market rate for a plumber." Perhaps not the best way to answer the question, but a long way from calling us plumbers. I do not believe Herb ever acknowledged that SWA Pilot pay should consider the market rates of our competitors.

I m not sure how a post count lends any credibility.

I have no idea what you mean by "washing" my account.
So, you’re sayin’ you’re a yes vote then.

Sure you did. We get it, you are the opposite of the yessies, you are a noie. Enjoy your one vote.

Not at all. Whatever we are presented with will have to stand on its own.

I speak for myself and I am not being critical of anyone, simply stating the truth. We shouldn't make decisions based upon inaccurate information.
