Keep up the good work UAW!
Their guy Fain is the real deal. A little inspiration to help SWAPA stay focused.
Membership is NOT interested in a ‘market’ agreement, please don’t bother sending out anything that doesn’t beat DL, UA, and AA in every area, including lifetime earnings.
“There’s an elevated level of militancy within the UAW right now. Fain is a disruptive figure with a bit of an unorthodox approach. Many auto workers are angry — they signed their last contract in 2019, about six months before the Covid-19 virus took hold. The pandemic would lead to huge profits for their employers, even as their own wages stagnated. They believe now is the time to get back the ground many feel like they’ve given up over the last 20 years.”

Your EFB is connected to the internet? How, unless you're paying for the wifi? When it works that is...
Cellular at the gate isn't good enough, and document handling on an EFB when wifi isn't working can be problematic especially when we must have a reliable way to maintain version control so everyone is using the same version of the document or dataset.

At OO we had everything come through the ipad. Manifest, takeoff perf, Release, MX log, MX writeups, weather, Jepp, flight plan, etc. Only paper we used was for the atis which was printed on receipt paper from the airplane. Cellular was never a problem at almost 99% of the airports we flew. Even if there was no service we would just go get the wifi from the terminal or hotspot off our phones.

It’s not there. Just another way SWA stays in the past. “Oh we’ve done this since the classic!”. So what.. it’s time to evolve. Please throw away the paper when you get it and pass it along to other CA.
