1,221 Reasons Not to work for Southwest

I did the same with a Delta ticket. Theirs was a nonstop, SWA had a plane change in Denver and was literally four times the price of the Delta flight (regular economy, not "basic"). Easy decision!

Dumbest thing I've ever heard. Thanks to ForeFlight and ADSB GA has never been safer. If I had something with the speed to cover some ground, like a Mooney or Bonanza I'd fly my family on vacation too.

Many of us here own GA airplanes. Believe me, if my family and I are going somewhere in the US for vacation, business, or a mini-getaway, we aren't taking Southwest... or any airline for that matter. Hell, even if I have to go across town during rush hour, I'm most likely flying.
Time.... the most precious commodity in existence.

Yeah its insane and while the coordinators are innocent in this, I am sending each parking request one by one, because the company needs to learn that going the cheapest route on paper, doesnt always end up being the cheapest in practice. So dumb we have to do it this way, but so be it.

This is arguably a good thing. Full airplanes is the business. To be fair, they've done everything they can to make space positive travel an option. 20% off tickets coming soon, cash in SWAG for Rapid Rewards. I can't really complain about them filling up seats with revenue pax. That's what pays my mortgage.

New fight schedules are out and nothing interesting at all. When are we going to start flying like a real airline and accepting payments from the 7.4 billion people outside the USA? It’s not that hard and investors should be demanding it.
