1,221 Reasons Not to work for Southwest

Geez, you guys are being a little dramatic aren’t you? There’s a lot that needs to be fixed or improved, but I don’t think I’d go so far as to say it sucks and every day is worse than the last. I’ve worked at a lot of different airlines and this one is easily top 2 or 3, even right now.

We will get there eventually and I am willing to wait or walk to get it.

When posts are like that I just ignore them. It's one thing to complain and offer constructive fixes. It's another to just complain. Complaining just to complain is usually more of a reflection of the individual and their circumstances or mental state of well being.
Yes, things could be better, but most of those things have a fix in the works. The big ones that aren't being fixed (that I know of) that are on my radar are separate transportation and/or hotels and JA. Those are huge quality of life eroding issues that need to be addressed now.

From our CEO NoSho BoJo the FU C.K.ing clown himself:
"Well, as I spoke with some of you this week, a few of you shared concerns about how this may impact non-revenue travel and commuting for Employees, which was a key part of these discussions in evaluating the change, I promise you. When Customers use the same-day standby option, there isn’t a change to the total number of seats available on a route each day; availability just shifts to another flight or time." - Bob Jordan
Tell me you know FU C.K. all about running an airline without telling me you don't know SH I.T. about running an airline. It's not about the number of seats on a given day, BOB. It's about showing up for a commute flight that had ten open seats that suddenly has zero because of revenue standbys. It's about being able to predictably get to work.
Add this to the list of reasons to avoid working for this dumpster fire!

certainly have to say the trend is negative and will not get better through the company’s initiative. that’s why a completely new contract and major improvements are so necessary.
