What is the point of all this gentlemen?
Newhire classes will be full regardless of whatever gets posted here. You’re not going to scare anyone off. Its an airline - just like the others. They all have warts. You make your choice and you live with it.
On a serious note: I gambled that WN is at a low and will rebound. I think legacies are going to decline when the regional model fails. They may be good now, but SWA was best when you chose and your timing was off. Things change. I’ve been around long enough to watch the cycles. I also think the short upgrades are going to evaporate when things slow down and I’m not about to be holding the crashpad bag for a decade waiting for a WB. Some kids are going to get burned.
I’d rather come in at the beginning of a wave, than join at the crest and ride it down.
Its a gamble. Its aviation. Call me in 20 and lets see if I’m right.
(AT6D- I didn’t realize the King’s English was a prerequisite for APC…I prostrate myself before thee)

Yeah the contract will help you fly the box. Written in the contract are the rules on training scheduling, how many hours you can work, process if you fall behind, training pay etc etc etc. stuff you really should know. Look up section 23.
Have fun, the instructors are pretty good and can teach you a lot, especially the older guys.
I’m starting to believe you are full of hot bleedair…

I’m on team butcher. If I were king for a day, there’d be a u-haul bonanza at the GO cleaning out the pickleball team from the building.

Then the apathy and just plain ignorance to the RLA and what’s happening at other airlines and the industry amongst our pilot group must drive you mad. I know it does me.

I don't trust they will vote informed... If they haven't taken the time yet to figure out the piece of paper than controls their pay and lives.
Im not talking understanding all the convoluted reserve pay rules, etc, I'm talking basic stuff.
