First time I ever played any of those FPS games with another person was when I was on a BOS layover. One of my oldest friends in the world was/is a stockbroker in Boston, and we went to his office after hours and used their LAN to play Doom against each other. When we built our house, I put cat 5 all over the house before wifi was even a thing, and we'd use that to connect the PCs together. Spent many an hour getting killed by my kids in Wolfenstein Enemy Territory and the like. Good times.

Duke was amazing fun in multiplayer. That was our go-to for a while until Serious Sam came out, and when stability on that title was rough we finally switched to Unreal Tournament and played that for YEARS.

Most likely not BUT I hear some company apologists are collecting SWAG points to buy the company a new scheduling computer and software suite. It will have one of the cool stickers on it that says “Employees LUV Southwest Airlines” on the cover.
