For 5 more hours you could go to a used car lot, buy an early 2000’s Honda, drive it to Dallas, and resell it at a thousand dollar loss.

Can't wait for the Congressional hearings, political grandstanding, witnesses being interrupted and the word "Outrageous," being repeated ad infinitum.

Most of the time my non-aviation friends fly somewhere, they don't even know what airline it's on, only that it was the cheapest ticket. SWA isn't going anywhere.
The distinction is SWA customers deliberately have to go to their website (click bait). The “I don’t know who I’m flying,” works for the expedia/orbits stuff. That’s why SWA relies so much on heavy advertising, return customers, and positive brand recognition.

Also, a weather delay only affects time of departure arrival. This chain of event monstrosity can’t be skirted by a weather event days or weeks in the past. They need a reset to cut their losses.

No. Passengers have a short memory. When they see Southwest is $25 cheaper than the competition next year, they’ll buy the ticket. Spirit grew exponentially by ****ing off people.

My prediction is BJ steps up and Southwest invests heavily in people and tech. He has all the evidence he needs to make the case.

I think this is the tipping point. New FOs at SWA have perfect timing. BJ can create his legacy right here.

Time for a great contract for all crews!

It could go either way. They could decide to reward half the workforce with new contracts after years of stalling company wide and invest in new IT. Or they could give everyone SWAG points and continue with the status quo.
