don’t worry. Your 5 leg west coast first day will get you warmed up before you cross the pacific on day 2 and then come back all the way OGG-DEN on day 3.

And don’t forgot your COS turn on the backside.

Watterson said something about a big inspection coming due on the -700s. I can’t remember after how many hours they need it, but he said it wasn’t worth it to keep flying the airplanes and pay for that inspection. This was in response to a question about whether we could use them as dedicated freighters. Sounds like as they approach that inspection they’re getting parked one way or the other.

Yup. He seemed pretty adamant that at 24 y/o they are dropping dead because that inspection is totally not worth it.

Good. I just flew a -700 that I flew new in 2007 and holy crap. At just 15 y/o it was sobering to see the wear on it.

If I recall correctly the Sovereign was Primus Epic which is CAS. The X which came before was Primus 2000, also CAS.

Next you are going to demand a fuel totalizer. ;-)

Don’t get me started. I’d love to know which cubicle dweller decided that we didn’t need a fuel totalizer and how many fractions of a penny per airplane they saved by making THAT call.

I want the dang flight number not to auto delete. What engineer decided to set that up? “Let’s delete the flight number right as they exit the runway and call ground during the cleanup flow LOL.”

Extra fun for the FO who just flew the 5 hour leg and hadn't made a radio call since taking the runway...it shouldn't be a surprise that the timer sometimes gets missed.
