Boeing MDB-90NEO-NG Type R. Put a new wing on it, spiff it up a bit, stretch it a bit more. DC-9 type. You know it's perfect.

Are you trying to say the Boeing RJ is not as good as the Super super stretched Guppy (Max 10) that now, too, needs differences training (at the least) yet is nowhere near as update (yet still so antiquated)

The 777-300 still has a handful of orders left with the 777X having about 350 on the books. That revenue is not going to be left on the table by Boeing. Not to mention almost 600 orders for 787s still outstanding.

I don’t know if living in a 737 centric world blinds one to these facts, unless you have a completely different definition of the phrase, “entire commercial airline side.” Your definition aside, that’s about 1200 WB aircraft yet to be delivered.
First off, I don't live in the "737 centric world", I just work here. Like many here I have plenty of experience in other aircraft types and would be first to point out the many short comings on the 737. However, I don't really care what aircraft I fly, I just want to make as much money for the least amount of time away from home.

Again, the 767 is basically done. The 777X is now five years late. Luckily Boeings biggest customer for the 777X (EK) is pretty much locked in since the Airbus 350 isn't a good fit for them. 787 fortunately had the United order, otherwise Boeing was looking to net zero 787 orders over 2 years.

I wish Boeing offered the best category. But there is a reason Airbus's order book is almost 2x Boeing.
