Group think here (by some) is next level. I wrote several follow up posts from another perspective (likely unread by most).
“Angry mob” doesn’t win support gentlemen. Shutting down questions and curiosity, and knee-jerk reactions, will just get you ignored by new hires. I can only assume thats not the goal. They have more leverage than anyone in this moment.
I hope this all gets wrapped up soon, and you guys do well, for the benefit of all involved.
Take care-

You’re right.
If I had been on the line for awhile I would be able to see how well your current strategy is working for you, and how happy you are with your results.
I can’t imagine how these substantive arguments are tuned-out…

However, that doesn’t mean that I don’t want to try to hear our opposition’s arguments in order to be able to develop the best ideas to defeat them. I also want to hear their attacks upon our positions in order to better understand their tactics and the arguments or approaches they believe are the best ways to undermine what we’re trying to accomplish. In that respect, I think likely company operatives like “Teamroper” can be valuable.

My operating assumption is that “Teamroper” is in the employ of the company or one of the company’s consultants, is in thrall of the company, is a rando that simply is opposed to the idea of organized labor, or some combination of the four possibilities.

I have written more (alternate) strategies about how to potentially strengthen your bargaining position than all of the other suggestions here combined.
I’ve studied your enlightening posts. Go re-read all of my posts in this thread and tell me I’m wrong Lew. If you do that with an honestly open mind, and come to the same conclusion as above, I’ll gladly slip into the ether.
Let me know here on this thread…I’ll keep an eye out for you.
