March vacancy is ok. From my discussion with training planning or whatever we call it now, they will pull your vacation for ground school but not for UOE.
from what I understand is youd bid a line for March and the training will put uoe on there?
correct me if I'm wrong.
But April vacancy is out for me. Too much going on.
So that'll leave June vacancy. If I dont get it by then I'll hold out till after vacation bidding then go in the fall. Heck I might do that anyway to finally have a shot at summer vacation before I won't see that again for 20 yrs.

I’ve had a summer vacation every year I’ve been here. Either with a green bar or not.

not awarded. Traded sure, make your own- I definitely know that route.
But when there's so few summer weeks available it's not an easy feet to get one. I'm glad you've been able to. I havent been lucky enough.

If you're thinking about commuting to reserve, make sure to budget for it. They used me for all of 6 days in November.

I'm on day 2 of 6 days of reserve right now, the 9 o'clock close just cleared out and they assigned everything to premium bidders. Good for the pilot group, bad for me.

If I were based where I live it would be a dream come true. But it's costing a little over $100 a night plus food, bus fare, Ubers etc every time I come out here and don't get used. It's frustrating to say the least.

I know I'm being Eeyore, just want people to bid with eyes open. If you're remembering back when you were new and reserves never sat unused, apparently that is no longer the case.

Well, if anyone gets a hold of it. Please PM it to me so I can be sure to not do business with those Benedict Arnolds.

What I was thinking too. I don't really want summer training for the next 23 years.....I'm a delicate mountain flower....humidity sucks.

He's in PHX. I almost ran the table this week, but got burned by the DEN snow. Ended up with 5 unused days for Nov....was hoping for way more.

What would motivate the company to give premium trips away vice using the reserves? Are they keeping reserves in "reserve" in case premium doesn't work?
