Ah the old Junkstream....not an airplane, but rather 16,204 lbs of feces flying in formation. I'll never be that good again.

Holy crap. I remember that.

It's like when you fly with a check airman and they tell you that we are updating our training programs for the 787. Mmmmkay.
Incorrect. I have a former student teaching in Mesa AZ at the flight school that B6 and WN use for Gateway Select and 225.

A small amount of CFIs in management or training department roles will go to SWA at either 1800 or 2250 hrs piston, which applies depends on specific criteria. The rest will build 91/135/121 turbine at various partner companies.

My hat’s always off for those that flew night freight in the Beech 18’s. I’ve only ridden in them, but from what I’m told, it would eat your lunch and anyone else nearby too.

I was hired to replace the guy that crashed in Roanoke. Kinda weird. I didn’t fly 405 but another run. I flew all the crap that needed maintenance through Grand. Fun times. I also flew the BE18 the widow maker.

I was on Pelican 412 in TRI until that run went away. I think some commander operation stole it because the Fed found out we were running it in an A36 and the contract said it was supposed to be a twin. I was a a floater after that. Frank fired and rehired me 3 times that winter if memory serves. I remember spraying down the wings with Prestone antifreeze in a weed sprayer to get the frost off one morning. #LivinTheDream

Was a long time ago so memory is a little fuzzy.

I tried to find some pictures of the A36. No such luck. 1995 was long before cellphones were commonplace, much less phones with cameras. (I feel old)
Frank did furlough me for a bit when we lost the Fed run in TRI. When he recalled me I flew the Cessna 402 in EWN for a while. I did find a couple pictures from those days.

I was fortunate to fly night freight in good equipment (Caravan) and to only have to do it for four months, but of the two times I was genuinely scared in an airplane, once was then.

Is this company behind the power curve on this? And I don't wanna hear the oh back in my day peeps who are sour. Just a good talking point to help with company attrition.
I hope not. I don’t see it doing anyone other than the company any good and that includes people you mention.

Scarcity equals value.

1000 RJ PIC would solve the upgrade issues the regionals have. People are not upgrading because Dfw 1000 TPIC is no longer required at most places.
