Does a gender/race based hiring practice exist that effects safety? It’s easy to determine the percentages of “protected classes” in previous incidents and accidents and then determine if that number is statistically different than “non protected” groups.

Incidents/accidents/hull losses with women and minorities in the flight deck over the last decade or so with minimal research. I'm sure some scholar somewhere could do a full study but that isn't going to happen.

This is what happens when you curtail proper discussions/speech. People will always find a way to speak what’s really on their mind bad or good. Stifling discussions for fear of getting attacked don’t hide the fact that people do have concerns right or wrong. This is why stuff needs to get properly debated so facts come out and fears get properly addressed.
