That moron doesn’t seem to realize this is the best pilot market in decades and he is in no position to ask for concessions. I’ll vote no to any TA that has concessions and isn’t a home run for this pilot group.

Carl can ask for whatever he wants. Changes to our vacation, sick bank, and other work rules is a nonstarter.

It has also cost me many thousands of dollars.
And all of the give backs were rationalized with arguments very similar to the arguments that were used very recently by the Alaska pilots to rationalize their yes votes. It also didn’t help that our former SWAPA president, who many in our group fanboi’d over, told everyone he was voting yes: “If it’s good enough for JW, it’s good enough for me “ and “What? You don’t trust JW?” became somewhat of a mantra in response to just about any questioning or critiquing of the TA.

I hold a CJO at United, but have always been interested in SWA and hope to get an interview soon. I've only got 15 career years left, so I'm trying to maximize income without destroying my QOL. If you had the choice under my circumstances which would you choose. and why?
