Yes. Changing jobs or retirement. Because the cozy relationship between SNAPA, management pilots, and management is NEVER going to change here. It's baked in.

Ok so my next question is this—how does one become a member of the company’s team? As an Assistant Chief I understand they are already a company management person, but is it an assignment or a volunteer position?
I still don’t understand how CK is ethically able to be in the position he is in…can’t SWAPA call foul on that play? How in any form is it considered negotiating in good faith?

The real question in my mind is why hasn’t the BOD passed a resolution (or passed in the bylaws) to prevent someone in the future from doing the same thing again……….To me that says everything.

what relevance would new bylaws have on someone once they are retired or no longer working for the union?

A non-compete / Non-disclosure agreement has no bearing on if you’re retired or not.
If you know dirty laundry, you shouldn’t be able to sit on the other side of the table for a period of time. In my view, of course.
