It is a serious word. Okay, how about “scab-like” behavior? After all, they voluntarily crossed a picket line to voluntarily pick up work on their days off. Deplorable behavior for a union pilot and absolutely **** poor judgement (or perhaps a grandiose sense of greed).

Forgive me but picking up open time and our scheduling flexibility has always been what differentiated SWA from everywhere else. Frankly it’s why our W2s are more than our peers with higher dollars per hour. I don’t see how this has anything to do with the message our picket will send to the company tomorrow. So guys haven’t changed their behavior all of a sudden. How’s that offensive to anyone here?

Again, do some math and explain to me how we have fewer days off for less pay than our peers. All I’m hearing is name calling and “bullying” which indicates a lack of a real argument. Make your point using data if you’re able.

When you find the contract comparison, note that we are sub par on 737 pay to year 5. Also, 1% less NEC. By year five at these other places, you’re able to be a WB FO or a NB captain. At swa you’re currently still another 3 years away from commuting (for most) to an upgrade.
