Default Hotel Finders

Starting flying in July (after IOE which I assume will be soon). OAK based commuter from PHX for that month and have a decent line but 3 of the 4 trips have a mid-trip overnight in OAK. What sites do you guys use to find the best deals on hotels with crew rates besides Crewtel?

It’s not crew specific, but I’ve had good luck with Hotels Tonight.

ID90travel.com is pretty good. Never tried it in OAK though.

ELLIT to make fewer overnights in OAK. Also TTGA with others in your situation. Dont assume your line is the one you actually have to fly. Plus by using ELLIT anything over original line pays 2nd yr rate. Turn that 3 day into a 4 day and it pays 2nd yr rate on the amount over original line.

Tried my hand at it, got some message about new hires not allowed to drop/trade/add. I assume until IOE is done that the block will exist. Plus I have yet to go to ETOPS school so who knows what will happen. I'm just doing a little prep ahead of time, getting my sea legs.

once IOE is done call training scheduling and have them remove the restriction. Have the check airman send it and call in about 30 min. If not you can get lost

Thanks. There's a LOT to learn on the ins and outs of things here.

Are mid trip hotels in base not paid for?

What do you mean, like if your trip has an overnight in base? Then yes, paid for.

Yeah I was just confused by the original post in this thread. I understand buying a hotel on the beginning or end of a trip but I thought the OP was specifically talking about overnights in the middle of a pairing.
