Bingo. Now is no time to get distracted. Watching what the Regionals are willing to pay to keep people ought to give you a good idea of the market value of a year one pilot. Adjust accordingly for longevity and inflation.

Its no secret that Watterson (and apparently management) is/was really impressed with the A321 NEO. Now THAT airplane would really make sense especially in the LR or XLR variant.

I just came across some video of the proposed 20-minute 787 turns:

I'm not sure of the backorder for the neo XLR but in would think it's a good idea to evaluate since Boeing may not be making commercial jets in the near future since they've dicked up the max variants so much.
we've have to hire lighter FAs for the tray table tho

This mental masturbation over 787 or Airbus is absolutely comical. I'll believe it when the vacancy bid awards are posted. Until then, I'll happily fly this heap of 1965 technology for the highest dollar possible.

As long as you don't spend much time over high mountains and never need to go over FL 340, the 321 is great. Tiny wing, no stall margin at high cruise. Study up on mountainous terrain safe escape routing procedures.

Correct. Most have been around long enough (in the industry) to believe nothing until they’re sitting in it with their name on the release. Everything else is background noise.

MDW-GRR proving runs for the 787.

I assume staying lower gives a wider margin? How is the Airbus auto thrust system in moderate mountain wave? Honest question because I don’t know.

I’ve never flown one with “sharklets” (French for winglet) but I hear they completely change the wing for the better.
