Kelly is chairman of the board. He is now the puppet master making all the calls. Only a fool Would think BJ has any say or power .

I flew with a guy who had a longer conversation with Watterson (sp)? He told him that he actually scored a meeting with the BOD of SWA and pitched the bigger aircraft to them. Supposedly he was shot down but finished by saying that at least he got his foot in the door.

Watterson for sure wants to go bigger and expand, but we still have the old school SWA people fully in charge of the decisions made at SWA.

Things must be so good around this place. When Bob Jordan took over, he said that the next thing for us is more Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, and pursuing environmentally-friendly fuel.

You guys kill me with this stuff. This isn't Fox News. We aren't trying to own the libs. Every CEO, including woke companies like Exxon say this same garbage every year. Ignore the noise. Concentrate on what they do, not what they say.

When this “stuff” gets constantly shoved down your throat in today’s society, you’ll pardon us if we develop a gag reflex to it.

That gag reflex comes from doomscrolling social media and keeping the TV on your "news" channel of political choice (fox, msnbc, etc). Turn off the outage media and talk to people about stuff that doesn't make you angry. You may be surprised what you and the person with pronouns and a Prius have in common. You're both American taxpayers with families, jobs, and mortgages.

It's entertainment wrapped up to look like news. It gets people addicted to being angry. Too many pilots have bought in to it hook, line, and sinker and it influences their every word and action.

While that could possibly be true… it could also come from simply reading your SWA work email…. Sadly, much of the company’s communication has little to do with being a better FO and much to do with attempting to convert me into a immoral lunatic. I don’t think it’s proper to dismiss these issues by blaming personal tv time.
