Most have flown international before SWA, and yes it is that bad as far as getting food. where where told by the company to just grab a muffin at the hotel before we fly for the day and that should do us for the day . As far as can not afford, I am just glad TA1 was not voted in .

We shouldn’t have to bring a sack lunch to work if we get hungry on a 12 hr duty day. So we negotiated crew meals for int’l flights…nothing spectacular but it’s better than starving.

No kidding. HOU customs is fixated on crews bringing in chicken Caesar wraps out of their crew meals. They will ask you 3 times if you have anything. I finally started getting confrontational with them.
Denver won't ask you a thing.

Question About Bidding International Routes
Yeah. Just started last week.
My point is that there is a stark difference between Hobby customs and every other station we go to. Hobby loves to harass crews. They removed the crew line. They ask you literally the same question three times and the roving supervisor will threaten to go through your bag. It's a ridiculous mind game. Meanwhile, the pax are filing by without another glance.
Denver hands you a slip and you walk out without a single word other than have a great day.
