Uflymike Q regarding Bluetooth and QC35
So, hypothetically, let's say I'm flying my "own" airplane and I wanted to use this Bose/Uflymike combo but I also want to listen to some self help podcasts or maybe a few sweet Air Supply songs. Do I need an adapter of some sort to keep the Bluetooth working while the Uflymike is plugged in? Thanks for any feedback.

I still rock my Chicago power ballads.
But you know what I would NEVER do? Crank my Chicago power ballads on a Bluetooth speaker while the other pilot is busy setting up the cockpit for the next leg.
But I digress. Sorry that I don't have the answer to the Uflymic question. I find when I fly (GA of course) Bluetooth music isn't ideal because if I set it to silence whenever ATC transmits, it's hard to listen to because ATC is chatty so it cuts out and restarts every 10 seconds. And if I don't, I miss radio calls.
Probably be good for a long, quiet leg. Like to Hawaii. I mean if you were going to fly a long quiet leg like that in your GA airplane.

I don't understand these guys who crank music loudly on every turn, and are completely oblivious that they're actively making the other pilot's job harder.
"Hey, can you call for a lav dump?"
"Can you turn that way down so I can hear the radio?"
And they look at you like you just insulted their mother. Ugh.

I haven’t done it yet, but I don’t think it is quite as seamless as say the A-20s where there’s auto muting and such for ATC comms. I bet if you reach out to them they can provide more specifics.
Another thing I’ve heard that works well is sticking an AirPod or two in under the QC35s.

The design of the QC35s is such that when the cord is plugged in (ie, in normal non-pilot use, plugged into a 3.5mm aux plug, like say an airplane seatback IFE system or a Walkman or something), it disables the Bluetooth. The idea is that if you’re piping in audio from the plug, there’s no sense in also having Bluetooth active and burning battery and pulling two audio sources at once. Well, that same plug is what the UFM adapter plugs into, so when it’s attached, the Bluetooth capes of the QC35s are disabled. The solution then is to use the aux cable input Jack on the controller box of the UFM to put a Bluetooth receiver into. So something like this https://www.amazon.com/Bluetooth-Receiver-Portable-Wireless-Headphones/dp/B09G97XMKR/

There's a cord you plug into the device and then plug into your ufly box that has the cables that go to plane etc in. There is no auto cut out. You can listen to whatever you want at whatever volume you want independent of ATC volume.

I hate when someone I’m flying with thinks it’s a good idea to play music on a speaker between turns. For one it’s unprofessional in my not so humble opinion and I’m sure more than a few pax find it to be as well when they hear it during boarding.
Second, what makes you think I want to listen to music on turns in the first place? Third, what makes you think I even like the music you’re playing?
Talk about clueless! Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got some kids to chase off of my lawn.
