I'll buy you a beer if you think one of our new hires from Dec can hold DAL in 2022. With LEAD Ops walking back their hiring projections twice already this year (by ~10% both times), and with the attrition in new hire classes, my best guess is 14-18 months for a new hire to hold DAL. The only base more senior is ATL.

I will take that bet

Are you seriously considering the Covid lockdown and MAX grounding as normal business around here?

Add it to the list...

"We will never get a B-fund."

"It will take 10 years to hold ATL as a First Officer."

"We will never go into ORD."

"People won't want to fly on a 737 to HI."

I'll also take this bet. Not long before you got hired, new hires were getting MCO within 6 months. And then the music stopped. The past 3 years are an anomaly.

Upgrades will also hit 2014 hires this year, if they take first available.

Heard the upgrade rumor as well. I知 a late 2015 hire and have 680 senior to me bidding the left seat. Seems like at least 300 have no bid in.

Late 15 hire also. I知 guessing we see upgrade in 2023 depending on base.

The most junior Lances are Jan 2012 hires. Between 2012 and 2013 there are only 176 on the seniority list. West coast upgrades good churn through those real quick and get to 2014 later this year.
