Default 10-27% attrition in new hire classes

Wow. Those numbers Casey put out about attrition in the new hire classes is a lot higher than I expected. Anyone else see this?

Yes, per official Union update, last class had 27% attrition. Off to DAL/AA/UAL/FDX/UPS That’s at least a 4-alarm fire for us. Devastating to growth plans. “Right where we want to be!”

So is it 10% or 27%? That's kind of a big difference.

If the mighty Southwest has attrition like this I can't imagine what it must be like at the smaller LCCs/ULCCs whose management refuses to put out numbers.

In Casey's update. All the other classes were around 10%, this last class was 27%.
