I think the big 4 is for the journalists who right articles about acquisitions & mergers, and the market share dilemma. Jockeying for 5th/6th are AA and WN with respect to where pilots want to be. WN is likely 6th today because they mostly get their points for being secure in a safe choice in a volatile industry when there is a glut of pilots. Not the case in a pilot shortage market.

Out of curiosity how many 1221 are left? If it’s more than a handful that should give you a good glimpse into Carls mindset for negotiations. “Well they’ll complain but they will still show up, get JA’d and pickup to meet our schedule. So what do you have to offer.”
