also, you’re applying to BOTH places, right? Not just the pilot credentials.

Yes, I’ve applied both places, ICIMs and Pilot Credentials.

Airline Apps won’t take an aircraft with 0 hours, I’m surprised that works for Pilot Credentials. Thanks for the help!

Do not enter the type with zero hours.

There are two question in the questionnaire that address this. Once question asks you to list out ALL your type ratings, and another specifically asks if you have the Boeing 737 type.

If you have a college degree and have Boeing 737 type, you should easily score high enough to get called. If it's not happening I would take very careful look at your application. Make sure everything is 100% correct.

I know everyone likes to get partial information and then post all of their conspiracy theories but this weeks class had 33.

20 new hire pilots
10 new hire instructors
3 requals

There were 30 “slots” available. Doesn’t necessarily mean 30 new hire line pilots. So going to look at the seniority list to figure out how many started class doesn’t work. Just look at the class roster.

Ahhh gotcha. So the company isn't hopelessly out of touch with the hiring market, they're just continuing to violate our contract.

When crew planning puts out class sizes as part of their new hire pilot training plan, and then doesn't fill them with pilots, it opens the door to question. I have a screen shot of the "new hire class size" graphic they've shared. we need instructors too, so it's great we have 10 in this class.

No. The instructors you're thinking of, who were hired in December and then offered the chance to continue instructing, were not in this class. They will be spread out 4 per month through June.

That is exactly right. The 10 new hire instructors are off the street hires training to be flight instructors. Not current instructors in a new hire class.

Not a conspiracy. You are incorrect. There were supposed to be 30 line pilots in class. The new hire banquet is for both pilots and instructors. The class was short filled by 12.

FYI: The seniority list only shows 19 new peeps.

You probably know this, but make sure the email address you use for ICIMs is the same one you use for Pilot Credentials. That mistake earned me a few laps around. Good luck and keep at it!
