It could be. I have a chart from a couple months ago that showed today's class planned at 30. Maybe you have revised numbers?

Welcome to SWA.

Recency. I’m at a regional and I’m on week 12 of waiting for IOE. I was hoping my military stink would overcome that, but no such luck yet. I’m hoping to meet recruiters at TPNx on Sunday.

No disrespect, just a question.

The only other carrier higher on my list is United. I live near IAH/HOU and don’t plan to relocate.

Meeting recruiters will help significantly. Does you app reflect the new type rating at your regional? Have you printed out the application to have someone else comb it over?

I’ve had it reviewed by Checked and Set before Covid. I was at a different regional back then. Not sure how they’d see the type since I don’t have any actual flight time to input into Pilot Credentials. It’s reflected on my resume and employment history though.

Nope, this class was supposed to be 30. There’s a pool of available pilots. This is more a reflection on the people department.

Meaning they didn't do enough to fill the class in time?

you put the type rating with 0 hours.

also, you’re applying to BOTH places, right? Not just the pilot credentials.
