Default 10-27% attrition in new hire classes

Twice in one month is the limit. Two days per JA max.

Honestly, all you have to do is say "I am fatigued" and it disappears. You can also cry foul and talk to the chief pilot on call, but who wants to do that?

You can also put down a GDO a day out and any JA is optional. If you decide to take it, they owe you 6.5 on top of whatever the JA pays.

All this rookie BS about oh, poor me, I got JAd is funny. Don't want it? Just don't do it. It's that easy. It disappears with one easy phone call. It's also funny how many guys complain about getting JAd but then don't put them in giveaway and never bothered with the GDO.

Yeah, but you get (6.5) "double time" when they force you to work your day off!

Great! Thanks for clarifying.

I was thinking the same thing…why can’t I just call in fatigued? There wouldn’t be any incentive for the company to keep me on the trip after that.

You can also put the JAs in giveaway. Still, a second JA on a JA? F that. As in fatigue.

The bait and switch keeps me from bidding open time turns, or easy two days when you have one early leg back the next day….

Depends on who you know. I see some that get the JA reversed saying they have to do child care . I do not wear a flag tie, so they do me no favors.

you get 8 you can use annually, but you can be savvy about them and utilize more.

It places you as last resort for JA assignments, and pays extra if you fly over it.

But that's not to say they can "take away" days off by calling you in on a day off while cutting the grass. Some who know the old commuter airline tricks may misinterpret that.
