Default Ground school masks?

Hoping this will become a moot point and the muzzles are on their way out, but does Southwest require masks in ground school and or sim, vaxxed or otherwise?

Sounds like as of this week masks were optional and nobody was wearing them. From a buddy who just went through recurrent.

I’d check with Big Ern first.

No masks last week. It’s pretty damn nice.

The contract security guard at the front desk had one on, but other than that none to be seen. Hopefully his company frees him from respiratory tyranny soon.

Why do you care if the security guard is wearing a face covering? How is it affecting you?

You’re not asking me but…

the dude clearly thinks his company is forcing him to wear it. If you see a woman being raped on the street in broad daylight. do you intervene? Do you call 911? Do you have the slightest amount of disgust that someone is being raped? Or do you say to yourself, “doesn’t affect me, keep walking I guess.”

That’s why. It’s an at least perceived, possibly true, injustice.

If he’s wearing it by choice, great. I support him 100%. If he’s wearing it because his company is forcing him to while it’s optional for everyone else, then I feel for him. It just seems silly at that point surrounded by people not wearing masks in a state where very few are masked up. It’s theater.

You’re right though, it doesn’t affect me, but I would feel for the guy. Is that still ok?
