Agreed. I was under the impression that company policy has gone away from the repeated mask reminders.

Please. For the love of god IR her ass. Please. SWAPA begs you, our customers beg you, and your fellow employees beg you. Please submit an IR.

it says during preflight briefings! If you do preflight briefing as per SWA FOM then according to the mandate you should have your mask on. We do our preflight briefing with the door open. You can act clueless all you want. But that is what it says. So you too are not in compliance with the mask mandate.

Wear it, don’t wear it….who gives a !&$? I’m
personally disappointed by the amount of compliance that we still have going on in the airports. If all passengers and employees would start treating this like the joke that it is, then the powers that be would have no choice but to drop the mandate. If 90% of all U.S. pilots stopped complying then what are they going to do? Ground us all? No, this mandate would be dropped yesterday.

That's equally as unsat as a crew member refusing to wear a mask. I hope you or someone else took her aside and told her that what she was doing was outside of company policy. I cringe every time the FAs go above and beyond on the mask crap. I have also had a captain that I flew a 4 day with who made a (not exaggerating) 5 minute PA on mask compliance. He would delay getting off the gate to make it. It was the same exact script every leg. I told him I thought the rule had changed and he gave me a blank stare. Pretty sure he just liked to flex his "captain-ness" on the PA. Nice guy, but totally clueless.

Default Ground school masks?

This whole thread is ridiculous. It's a freaking rule, and one that we require our customers and other employees to abide by. By not doing it, you are setting a terrible example and making every other employee's job harder who is required to enforce it. You are also encouraging terrible behavior from our customers who are going to see you violating a rule and take it out on the people doing the right thing.

I am not the mask cops, I hate the freaking things, and wish they would have gone away when the mandate originally expired. The difference between me and the idiots who are carrying out this patriot freedom too cool for school protest is that I don't bring my personal politics or opinions with me to work and they do. I am sure sharing the same cockpit space with you guys is a blast.
