the dude clearly thinks his company is forcing him to wear it. If you see a woman being raped on the street in broad daylight. do you intervene? Do you call 911? Do you have the slightest amount of disgust that someone is being raped? Or do you say to yourself, “doesn’t affect me, keep walking I guess.”
That’s why. It’s an at least perceived, possibly true, injustice.

My guess is his source is a fellow pilot who heard the same thing from a gate agent named Simone whose best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw a FA testify in congress about it.
It's pretty serious.
