JA is self explanatory.
VPF is voluntary premium flying which is essentially just a way for them to say "here is what is left over and didn't get any legal bids. We will award it at premium". It's kind of dumb. Allegedly it is right before JA, but in practice they usually just reroute to cover.
SNOT is short notice

POT/DOT is daily open time. Basically the 0900, 1300, and 1700 awards for the next day. PHOT/HOT is hourly open time, which is anything awarded after 1700 the day prior.
JA is self explanatory.

You get it look like that and you have a contract in 1 week.

We get it. Pilots shouldn't be picking up open time. I'm sorry I'm the reason your contract is taking so long. Also, I'm voting yes on TA1 sight-unseen. You're welcome.

Anyone voting yes or no sight unseen is an absolute MORON and should be booted from the voting ranks.

Also, again, I dont pick up OT, I will however pull from a giveaway, but I also dont think the 10 people our of 1000 in each base that do it are somehow the reason we dont have a contract.

Sureeeeee. Next thing we know we are being sued. Guess who pays for that? Stop thinking that you are some tough guy because you dont pick up OT and are sticking it to the "the man".

I am sorry but please remind me how much APA paid of that fine? Do you remember how they were found guilty? Don’t realize they learned from their mistake and when they did it again there was nothing that could be done? In addition can you imagine the recruiting issues a company would get if they sued the pilot group in this market? Good luck getting recruits? Stop being afraid to win!
I have the database of pilots that play in OT it’s muchho higher than 1 percent and would post but after some back and forth between the moderators I am sure that would go over their line as I have already strayed over the line in the past.
