Straight outta the OAK CP’s monthly email update. Unless of course he has no idea what he’s talking about..
“We may see another expansion of the Training center to add more simulators as that is the limiting factor in growth as we rebound from Covid. Currently, there is an office building at the end of the training center. SWA bought that building during Covid to allow for expansion of the facility to add simulators.”

You guys get updates from your chiefs? I think I've seen two emails from ours in five years.

Houston based?
They tend to only deliver news when it's some "amenity" that they are cutting like when they told us that they would no longer provide coffee (not joking) because Provo doesn't have enough.
I assume that someone has won a presidents award for saving the company money on our lounge renovation budget. Check out the couch in the back corner. I think it was sitting out by a curb outside a heroin shooting gallery.
Someone decided long ago to buy three tables and some office chairs and have us relax and unwind by staring at other pilots and watching OANN and Fox. Fun stuff.

HOU lounge is by far the worst in the system. It’s actually embarrassing.
Give me DEN or BWI any day.

Rumor has it that the new Denver lounge (being moved to the far east end of the concourse when construction is completed) will have an outside patio. Not sure how much I believe it since it will only be useful for 5 months out of the year or so but will be pretty cool if it is true.

I'd be surprised if the lounge itself had an outdoor patio, but apparently over in B one of the ends has an outdoor patio that anyone can use. So I would be surprised if C had something similar.
