Just doing some perusing of the seniority lists and the Lance projection.
Check your preferences and elections, specifically the Lance box. I just changed mine. Somebody is going to get a big surprise when they are called by training scheduling to go to Dallas with little notice. Houston has two lances...they should have a lot more. Other bases look similar. I have a trip with my wife planned for November. She will gladly go without me, but I would rather spend a week with her than in the schoolhouse.

Yes. They are required to designate 3.2 percent of FOs, but don't have to designate them past the first 10 percent in each domicile (no less than 50 for smaller domiciles).
They are way under 3.2 percent right now. I know there is a training backlog, but next month would be a good month to un-jam it and shoot some lances through training since there aren't that many regular upgrades. I would just say beware to anyone in the top 10 percent (or top 50) of FOs in any base. There are probably plenty of senior FOs with the Lance box unchecked that either don't want it or are biding their time. Somebody will get surprised, I guarantee it.

and hire 2400 over the next 12-14 months?
so going from ~9500 pilots to ~11400?
That equates to ~20% growth in <14 months…
Where’s the koolaid to go with this graph???
